Where'd you get these names from anyway?[edit]

'Lost city of Z', 'Manuscript 512' - what is this? Feels like some cheap online RPG. Are there no 'real' names for these things?--178.168.50.2 (talk) 11:57, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest you read the article and also Percy Fawcett and stop making silly comments. David J Johnson (talk) 12:16, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Those are the real names for them. Manuscripts with no title are classified by their cataloging number in archeological and historical archiving, and in archeology cities and other sites that have yet to be located or excavated tend to just have a simple reporting name attached. if this was Roleplaying game stuff, they would have much more lurid and sensationalized names and titles, i assure you. 172.58.139.156 (talk) 06:22, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

would you prefer the temple of the mad monkey god or something? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.49.6.225 (talk) 13:49, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
