Looks like someone doesn't know the difference between covenants and ordinances[edit]

Covenants are between private parties and bind only those in privity with them. Ordinances are passed by a duly elected public entity and bind anyone who wanders into the jurisdiction. This is a huge difference; a lot of cases turn on the issue of what private property owners can do with their property versus what governments can impose within their boundaries. --Coolcaesar 04:58, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

pronunciation[edit]

pronunciation looks a bit odd. ɔ doesn't occur in CA English, and Altos may be off too. Can someone who known check here: en? kwami 05:46, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Voter registration[edit]

I just updated the political affiliation info - the source was dead so I replaced it with the current (2014) link and numbers. But someone still needs to verify that "Los Altos Hills is the second most Republican city" in Santa Clara is still true. Demographics/Income Data[edit]

It is curious that the median household income is only $143k when the median income for both male and female individuals is $170k+.

It's possible that this is a typo, or it could be that high-income earners tend to live together in the same household, but low-income earners live individually, which would skew the median towards low-income households since there are more of them.

The per-capita income of $92k also looks low. Even if per-capita income is averaged including children & other unemployed individuals and the median income figures only include employed individuals, it seems unlikely that all of those numbers are correct unless there is a very strange distribution of incomes with the mean significantly below the median, or a significant portion of the population is unemployed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.39.0.199 (talk) 17:44, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Status quo[edit]

I propose that this part, "The Los Altos Hills ZIP code 94022 appeared on the 2017 Forbes list of America's most expensive ZIP codes; 94022 was ranked the 3rd most expensive in the United States, with a median home price of $7,755,000.[5] In 2019, a Bloomberg analysis ranked Los Altos Hills the fourth richest town in the United States.[6]" is considered promotional and advertising and be removed. Similar words were removed from the Redwood Shores, California Wikipedia page. see:(https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Redwood_Shores,_California&action=history) for the edits. What was removed in Redwood Shores, California was, " In 2009, Forbes Magazine named Redwood Shores one of "America's Top-Selling Luxury Neighborhoods". The Redwood Shores ZIP code 94065 appeared on the 2015 Forbes list of America's most expensive ZIP codes, with a median home price of $1,612,971." This seems to be very similar to what appears in this article and I suggest that it be removed.
