Not London Films[edit]

I haven't checked all of them, but The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, A Canterbury Tale, I Know Where I'm Going! and A Matter of Life and Death certainly aren't London Films - even though they were made at Denham -- SteveCrook 05:08, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quite so, but I have had to remove them again. Philip Cross (talk) 15:38, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Panscanladyhamiltonlogo.JPG[edit]

Image:Panscanladyhamiltonlogo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Another London Films?[edit]

A London Films, complete with Big Ben logo, was one of the producers of the 1985-86 Twilight Zone revival. How is this related? Or is it not? This article states that after reorganization, London Films was inactive till the late 1990s. But how could another company use the name and logo legally? Is this article inaccurate? 71.200.138.188 (talk) 16:33, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The company name was and is "London" Films. The fact that some films may have been completed in California was no reason to change the logo. I suggest that the meaningless comment "although Korda's handful of American-made films still had Big Ben for their opening corporate logo." be deleted.Royalcourtier (talk) 04:38, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
