I object to the deletion of this page, on the grounds that Locale (geographic) is a necessary heading item for articles on smaller geographic sites of human activity. I have seen it used on maps for various types of present and historic locations indicated in this article. I also think it fills a gap in geographic catagory that other items might be put into. This category is especially helpful in the case of old settlements in the Western United States where isolated buildings or small settlements, defined as a locale, had out sized importance in its history.Asiaticus (talk) 03:52, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
