i think most reviews were quite negative. why the extended section relying on one, lone, positive review? especially since the footnotes are full of OTHER reviews!
rather than using all those reviews for cast details and broadcast dates, how about actually excerpting some of the MEAT from them and greatly improving the reception section?
also, the "history" section should be pared down -- or removed? -- with the focus shifted to the shows at hand. for example, rather than a statement on use of nigger in the original show, how about the statement being that it was used in THIS VERSION...with a quick parenthetical like "(as per original script)"?? even that fact is strangely listed under the critical response section. i say strike them both and get it under "production" (or better yet "plot" or "synopsis"...).
thirdly, infobox should list kimmel and lear as "hosts" -- it's just strange having them listed amongst the actors like that. and what the heck ORDERS are those actors in anyways?! not alphabetical, not order of appearance, and certainly not by importance. just plain STRANGE! (and the "cast" section is WORSE!!)
i'd also add a blurb about hudson VISIBLY performing the jeffersons' theme and doing that dance/walk-thru. as it now stands, it sounds like maybe she just sang the song off-camera, pre-recorded even.
lastly, the "history" section -- if it keeps that name -- needs some MAJOR rewriting. just hard to read at present. and who are "o'connor" and "jean stapleton" mentioned in parentheticals?? at the very least, add "...in the original"!!
still tho, whole section needs redo from scratch.

- I'm sure everything you're saying is right. I'm just now reading it. As for why there was one review used, I guess no one bothered to add others. - I think, if anyone gets recast, we remove the entire current cast list from the infobox and redirect the section to the cast listing section of the prose--Simmerdon3448 (talk) 19:18, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
