Lord Lieutenants Earl of Hardwicke to 1873 Charles Watson Townley 1864-1893 Alexander Peckover 29Nov 1893-

is not the same as those holding the post of Lord Lieutenants of Cambridgeshire.

Was the Isle of Ely an exception to the statement about the two posts being merged from 1836?
