How much more work does this need?[edit]

Hi @Berig: - we never finished this, did we? I wonder how much more work it would need. I was reminded because I've started work on a new project and knew I could find a book cited here (Paff, Geographical and Ethnic Names in the Thidreks Saga).--Ermenrich (talk) 19:00, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know. ATM, I am busy writing IRL about another obscure topic. Maybe, it can be launched as it is. Berig (talk) 11:00, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There are a few items in the bibliography that are missing that I can't figure out. Maybe you could have a look when you have time?--Ermenrich (talk) 00:15, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Assuming Wessén 1926 = Wessén 1927 (and a few more such changes), I've fixed everything except Pritsak 1993, which seems to be a work not cited in our other lists.--Ermenrich (talk) 14:30, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I have added Pritsak 1993 now. It took me a while to retrace the source.Berig (talk) 11:28, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Berig! There are a few other sources I haven't been able to figure out in some of the other lists - maybe you could take a look at them when you have time. I've been fixing up what's obvious if I can.--Ermenrich (talk) 13:30, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also: I've come across this short article specifically on the etymology of Freawaru by Leonard Neidorf [1]. Might be worth incorporating that into the list/her article, as it gives some more context for e.g. Kemp Malone's theory and argues that "Frea" is a theonym.--Ermenrich (talk) 13:32, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A very fine article, indeed. I will see if I can find some time for this during the following weeks.--Berig (talk) 06:33, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
