GNU Solfege and KDE Minuet[edit]

not a single thing listed under "midi plug-in" is actually a midi plug-in. -b 2021/01 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:D4:7F18:6F37:8D53:A306:2071:1C0 (talk) 22:55, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The whole MIDI plug-in tab is misleading. It should be removed or completely rewritten. 80.62.117.17 (talk) 14:03, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Music transcription software[edit]

Neither here nor elsewhere on Wikipedia does there appear to be a category or other means of locating information about music transcription software, by which I mean software that takes as input audio and generates a score from it. This seems to me to be a serious omission. Searches for this kind of software lead to the musical equivalent of word-processing software, that is, software that allows the user to enter a score and have it formatted nicely.Bill (talk) 22:55, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Error in one href of "music tech"[edit]

The word "music tech" under "music gaming software" point to Pixelh8 which is an artist's profile.

Request to correct this or least inform me if it's okay to do that by myself. :) Anish59312 (talk) 06:41, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No music OCR software listing[edit]

There needs to be a category of all music software OCR—software that converts (typically) PDFs into editable formats, like XML. SharpEye comes to mind. There are others and some are incorporated in notation software. B0cean (talk) 06:52, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
