I created this page so I could link to it from the Italina music box template. I marked it as a stub. Please add to it if you can.

CIMA festival[edit]

I’ve just tidied up a stub on the CIMA Festival (http://www.concertiinmonteargentario.it). It’s a classical music festival held annually, in the summer, since 2002 (or 2003—I couldn’t work out which) in Monte Argentario, Tuscany. I don’t know whether it is of sufficient importance to add to the list: the original author would certainly have thought so. But that editor [1] seems to concentrate on advocating the career of the Spanish baritone Jorge Chaminé, who is the artistic director of this festival, and so may be prone to over-enthusiasm! —Ian Spackman 10:57, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed festivals, and list selection criteria[edit]

This page has never been an example of a well-sourced list, and User:Curdle has recently removed a large number of festivals that weren't sourced to anything beyond a (possibly defunct) website for the event. If your favorite music festival was removed, never fear: just consider this an official WP:CHALLENGE to add an WP:Inline citation that proves your favorite festival exists and is big enough to attract the attention of an independent source before you restore it to the list. Any local newspaper article should be good enough for this purpose. It's not necessary to write a separate article about the festival first. WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:44, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
