I would be tempted to take this to AfD or find a place to redirect it. "Inaccessibility" seems to rely on bias toward people living in areas that are not on the list. Many of the areas on this list do have roads; from their perspective it is all the other places that are "inaccessible by road". "Road" also needs to be better defined (by car? by train? on foot?) and most islands would qualify depending upon the criteria, so I would advise against adding that to the title. Oppose "and populated islands" as it feels like it would increase the scope to include nearly every island, which seems like too much. No opinion otherwise. The below discussion about scope may be relevant. Then again, "settlements" may be construed to include populated islands, but there's nothing wrong with a list not being all-inclusive, so I suppose it doesn't matter too much. Title and scope[edit]

Comparatively few islands are connected to the mainland by bridges or tunnels, so once you start including islands you are going to get a very long and not very useful list. "Inaccessible by road" is reasonably clear. It might be more worthwhile to include settlements (of over a certain minimum size) which are inaccessible by road. I doubt whether all the places currently listed are really "cities".---Ehrenkater (talk) 15:03, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, on checking, most of those remaining in the Europe list are towns or villages, at least two in N America are small villages. Including islands (at least small ones) has to be a non-starter; the whole thing needs tighter definitions otherwise it will remain a mess. Geopersona (talk) 19:31, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Skagway Alaska[edit]

I'd have thought so, along with the scatter of outlying smaller settlements with which it is connected by road.
