Merge?[edit]

Surely this list should be merged with that at List of fells in the Lake District - there can be little reason to maintain two independent pages listing the same features - can there? Geopersona (talk) 19:54, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article overly Marilyn-focussed[edit]

Like so many articles relating to British hills, this article has been developed with a 'hill-list' mentality. Whilst 'hill lists' have their place, they are not the only way of approaching hills and can rather strait-jacket our appreciation of them. For myself I'd find a single sortable list of Lake District hills preferable to the current layout which breaks them down into individual tables based on Marilyns which cannot so readily be compared. cheers Geopersona (talk) 19:12, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
