US 2=US 0?[edit]

In my mind, "US 2 is the de facto US 0" is opinion. To prove it, you would need a US _00 route off of US 2, which there isn't. There have been three branches of US 2 on each part: US 102 on the west part (decomm.), and US 202/302 on the east part.

Agreed. Just because it is the lowest numbered east-west route, that doesn't make this statement anything more than an opinion. I'm removing the statement from the article, only because I feel that kind of a bold statement definitely need some sort of citation. I have readded it in a "See also" section, since it was never actually assigned. The factual source is located in the US 2 article intro, so no source should be needed on the dab page. Mapsax (talk) 05:59, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
