Cleanup :
* Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state)
* Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.)
* Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing.
* Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
Expand : Professional sports (crucial article explaining the salaried undertaking of sports)
* Sport industry (currently a sub-stub)
Photo : for pages listed in Category:Wikipedia requested images of sports and games and sub-categories.
Stubs : work on articles in Category:Sports stubs
Update : List of world sports championships
Other :
- Translate the page of sport in each country from corresponding article in other language Wikipedia to English Wikipedia which was marked in red.
- Categorize: Gather all (major/olympic) sports to be part of this project

Merging[edit]

Is it possible to merge this page with the list of proposed stadiums page??? I only ask since it seems like there are stadiums listed on each list that should be on the opposite list.... So can we merge the 2? Dw122339 (talk) 18:47, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Constructed Stadiums[edit]

Is it possible that we could do away with re-constructed/renovated stadiums since they are not really "future" stadiums as they were already in place before construction? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.136.213.240 (talk) 22:20, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also there were stadiums that were listed that were at TBD and didnt have references or a wiki pages, so I was thinking of not having them on until they had references and or wiki pages.

Lack of references[edit]

This article suffers from a serious lack of references. New stadiums are constantly added without any references. Recently, User:104.173.212.248 added two new stadiums ("New Cagliari Stadium" and "New PAOK Stadium") without any references. I feel inclined to revert those edits. There are a lot of rumors about new stadiums on the internet. We need to make sure that what is written here is verifiable. Kindest /EriFr (talk) 18:21, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Blueandwhite87: You have now not only undone my two reverts (which were made for lack of references), but also added three new stadiums, without providing any references. A bare link in the comment field doesn't qualify as a reference. A reader should not have to read through the page history to be able to verify the content you add. It is not my responsibility to provide references for the content you add, it is your responsibility. Could you please provide correct references for the five stadiums you have recently added? Content without references may be challenged and ultimately removed. /EriFr (talk) 19:41, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
