generalisation in intro[edit]

In most cases State Government Railways ( Western Australian Government Railways, New South Government Railways etc) were started government instrumentalities - not companies by any measure - how come the generalised and incorrect introduction to this list has not been queried as out of context in australian railway history? I was the one who added it, and was thinking from a Victorian perspective. I have now altered it, feel free to tinker with it more. Wongm (talk) 05:02, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
