Untitled[edit]

I think perhaps some of these awards are not appropriate for this page. For example the Governor General does not distribute the Royal Victorian Medal, it is the gift of soverign for services rendered. The Governor General is the principal Dame Grand Cross of the Order of St. John but I dont think she presents the order. Dowew 01:40, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Dowew, the main reason not all the entries match the scope of the article is that there are No references for this list. Until(1 == 2) 13:53, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

Unless this article is referenced to show that each entry meets the scope of the article I am going to start deleting entries. Or, if as it is now, deleting uncited entries would blank the page, I will AfD it.

What is more, this is merely a list that does not provide any encyclopedic content. This would serve better as a category than an article unless it is used to provide cited information regarding the entry. Until(1 == 2) 13:53, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are references to these awards at the Governor General of Canada website. Added ref. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 03:02, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want, you can add links to the specific pages in that site, for example Order of Canada [1], Order of Miltary Merit [2], Order of Merit of the Police Forces [3] and so on. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 03:05, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
