Great job on this list. It looks really nice. I had to pull a statement that the band has won 9 awards of 15 nominations. I don't think a statement like that can ever really be truthfully made... The band has won or been nominated an innumerable number of times with awards; albiet they are minor compared to Junos or Grammys, but nevertheless, it's no one's place to decide what awards count and what awards don't. It should not be mistakenly implied that this is is an exhaustive list of every awards available since 1988 that Barenaked Ladies has won or been nominated for. Only the main industry awards. One example missing here are MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVAs) which I believe are certainly notable as the canadian equivalent of the MTV VMAs. According to MuchMusic Video Award for Peoples Choice: Favourite Canadian Group, they have won the People's Choice award twice, which is just one MMVA handed out. My understanding is that they have won three MMVAs:
But like I said, even this is just one other award. There have GOT to be other awards of far less prominance the band has been nominated for or even won. There is no way to ever say "they have won x awards of x nominations they've ever had for any award". TheHYPO (talk) 09:39, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
