Major overhaul of article[edit]

I hope you guys like what I did to improve the page. I used cell padding, added airports that were missing and moved the page from 'List of Airports in the Philadelphia area' to 'List of airports in the Delaware Valley' because all of the regional airports should be included not just Philadelphia. Object to proposed deletion[edit]

Understood that there are already listings of airports by state, but that's not always the most natural grouping, especially for multi-state metropolitan areas. For example, airports around New York City will include some from both New York State and New Jersey (and possibly even Connecticut). David (talk) 23:16, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree - I think this sort of article is valuable. Lestocq (talk) 11:32, 25 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Chiming in a month later to say that I agree with the concept of this article as well.
That said, it's needs better organization and context. At the least, closed airports should be split into a separate chart. And a split of commercial and general aviation is probably also a good idea. The Aviation in the New York metropolitan area and List of airports in the Los Angeles area are good models. oknazevad (talk) 14:04, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I just had a look at the pageviews for those two articles, and they're way more than for this list. A rewrite in the style of those two would be an excellent idea, but perhaps another rename might be good to attract more viewers in the first place. Lestocq (talk) 14:55, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
