Edge torn achilies

Was edge injury while fighting Jeff Hadry in July kayfabe? It says he was inactive due to injury on the article, but on 7/10/09 he speared Rey Mysterio and he and Chris Jericho were assaulting Mysterio which makes my think it wasn't legit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.116.57.122 (talk) 02:03, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Because Smackdown is filmed (if i can say that) some time before it airs; which brought us to a crossflow-- Celtic Cross  15:48, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Idea

I have no idea where to put this so i'll just post here. I was thinking that a page with all pro wrestling championships on would be a good idea. Sorry for posting it here but i really have no idea where to post. We have a page dedecated to pro wrestling promotions, move & matchs why not one including all the wrestling championships. If there is already 1 could someone put the link her please, thank you very much 82.21.192.131 (talk) 13:02, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

could you please look at this reather then ignore it 82.21.192.131 (talk) 19:19, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Would be near impossible to make a comprohensive, fully sourced listed of all pro wrestling championships. It would be borderline list cruft. There are probably around 1000 championships in existence to begin with. Today in the mainsteam wrestling community, you have 5 from TNA, 9 from WWE, 2 from ROH, 2 from PWG, 5 or 6 from CZW, etc. This would also be better suited to be posted at WT:PW.--WillC 22:42, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Eugene and Chris Masters

they both signed with wwe source wrestlezone also festus has not competed in 30 days same for jamie noble —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.71.72.229 (talk) 13:43, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Send us the Eugene and Chris Masters source and I'll add'em at Unassigned employees. Thanks for the Festus and Noble though.-- Celtic Cross  16:30, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Eugene (Nick Dinsmore) reportedly signed on as a Trainer for FCW, so once it can be confirmed, the category he would be under is "Producers and trainers", not "Unassigned employees". --James Duggan 22:19, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, right-- Celtic Cross  14:23, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

As well as training the FCW development talent, its been noted that Eugene is set to make a return in SmackDown soon. I think he's wrestled house shows and is set to continue a rivalry wtih Ricky Ortiz. Therefore he should be placed on the SmackDown roster. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.160.138.152 (talk) 15:39, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Ezekiel Jackson

Can someone remove "Inactive; Has not competed in over 30 days" from his notes, he has appeared on the last 4 (I think) episodes of ECW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.103.238 (talk) 23:46, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

The Miz

Right now The Miz isn't listed as a superstar on any brand. I feel his name should be removed until he is listed again, even if it might be storyline based. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.162.138.164 (talk) 03:17, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

He's still listed on the official roster pages. Therefore he should still be put on the Raw roster, with a sidenote that he has been 'banished' from Raw. It's happened before with someone a few years ago and they were still listed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.160.138.152 (talk) 15:41, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

As of right now he isn't listed on the official roster pages. Click the link listed next to his name and he is not there. It just says page not found. —Preceding unsigned comment added by John546 (talkcontribs) 02:15, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Ok forget about removing his name now that he won the contract match against Eugene. His name still isn't listed on the official roster but should be listed soon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by John546 (talkcontribs) 06:19, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

What proof is there that he is returning? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.240.147.74 (talk) 19:08, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

D-Generation X

Now that D-Generation X is back together, I feel there names should be added to the Stables and Tag Teams list on the Raw Brand.

Slam Master J and Cryme Tyme

J appeared in one edition of Word Up with Cryme Tyme and Eve in which they locked him away from them, the quartet haven't been seen together since, so why is SMJ listed as a member of Cryme Tyme? The gimmicks are similiar, but surely we're going to have to see more than one appearance for this to become 'official'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.165.220.158 (talk) 22:27, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

What are you talking about? He has appeared with Cryme Tyme every single week since that. Have you not been watching SmackDown? TJ Spyke 22:32, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

I have an I did not see Cryme Tyme with him during his debut or during the intergender tag team matches either. What I'm saying is that Cryme Tyme are a tag team not a stable, Slam Master J is simply an associate not a stablemate. Cryme Tyme is just JTG & Shad with Eve acting as their valet. Slam Master J doesn't come into it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.165.220.158 (talk) 02:14, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

You said they had not appeared together since then, I pointed out you were wrong. They have appeared together in the Word Up segment ever week. I am not saying I think he should be listed with them, I am just saying that they have appeared together every week. TJ Spyke 02:19, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Superstar & Diva

This page redirects from "WWE Superstar" with no explanation as to why. Therefore I added a short note in the intro, explaining that WWE uses the terms 'superstar' and 'diva'; not sure if it needs a source, but if it does, pretty much any page on WWE.com should suffice. I understand that WWE.com articles are not always considered reliable sources for facts, but surely they are considered reliable sources on how WWE refers to its talent. MVP and Mark Henry

These guys are going to vs. Jericho and The Big Show @ Breaking Point for the Unified Tag Titles. Should they be added to the tag team list? Or should we wait until they have had a few more matches?John546 (talk) 04:18, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Wait and see what happens after Breaking Point; whether they win and become official, or lose but continue tagging. This although, might not occur and they might not become a tag team.--Celtic and Cross talk 17:15, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Ok someone just added them as a tag team to the list. I am unable to edit this page currently so if anyone could take the names down until we see what happens, it would be appreciated. John546 (talk) 19:40, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Okee dokeey. Done.--Celtic + Cross talk 20:42, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Legasy

There starting to refer to The trio listed as "Legasy" as Randy Orton and Legasy I'm just wondering should Orton be listed in Legasy?--Wwe.fana (talk) 07:59, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

He should be listed in Legacy he is apart of the group, it is a stable.--WillC 08:03, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
WWE Announcers are refering him to them as Randy Orton and Legasy--Wwe.fana (talk) 08:04, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

OK Tell Me which is better me removing Orton or adding a team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiasie--Wwe.fana (talk) 08:23, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
Neither. Orton is still credited as being apart of Legacy. They are a stable, simple as that. They should be listed as such as well.--WillC 08:44, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Yes I have to agree with Will here, Randy Orton is still a member of The Legacy, its just that hes a star in the singles competition. This is similar to when Triple H was part of Evolution.John546 (talk) 19:38, 4 September 2009 (UTC) Yes but It wasn't "Triple H and Evolution" It was "Evolution". But in the case of theese 3 its refered to as "Randy Orton ands Legasy"--Wwe.fana (talk) 22:18, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Dude. It's Legacy, and leave it how it is.--Celtic + Cross talk 18:32, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
I used to agree, but I'm watching SD! and the name bar during the entrance said Randy Orton & Legacy with the three together. It's kinda official if it was on TV isn't it? Freebird (talk) 01:37, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
The Name should remain Legacy.--Dcheagle (talk) 01:47, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
Although I agree, I think you should give a reason that prooves you're right; I've seen you do this quite a lot. You don't say "The name should remain legacy due to...", but "The name should reamin legacy". Another example I've seen you write is "If you were right you could add it but you're not so you can't"--The Celtic Cross (talk) 10:52, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
Then why should it be Legacy? Like I said I used to agree, but the name bar thing says otherwise. Freebird (talk) 13:01, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

In case u don't know me wich u probably don't I haven't given up on a problem I have seen. Unless there is a solution, and as far as I Know Orton is not apart of LEGACY.--Wwe.fana (talk) 21:49, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

This has gone on long enoughWwe.fana (talk) 11:01, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Yes your right Wwe.fana but listen,WWE doesn't call them Randy Orton and Legacy stupid, its The Legacy. And besides, you people think you can go all around here and think YOU guys choose the name? NO WWE DOES So stop it right now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.154.48.198 (talk) 20:28, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Courtney

Courtney Taylor no longer needs to be listed as a valet of Alex Riley, the recent FCW saw him dump her from the Cabinet, deeming her dead weight, whilst her future in FCW is unknown, they'll probably focus on her in-ring work whilst continuing her backstage interviewing on ECW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.106.224 (talk) 20:39, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Curt Hawkins

Deapite the fact he competes mainly within FCW and is yet to appear on SmackDown, he should be listed as a member of the SD roster still with a sidenote saying he trains in FCW. If he's still got a profile on the roster, they still consider him a member of it. Besides, he's not even listed as an official star at FCW. You can't count him out until he's officially demoted, traded or released.

Yes I completely agree with you. Until he is officially demoted or his name is removed from the SmackDown roster, I feel he should be listed on SmackDown.John546 (talk) 06:19, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Why has he been removed again? He's still not been removed from the official roster lists (which is an official source) so why take him off? He can do both FCW and SD at once, even without appearing on one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.173.26.253 (talk) 22:22, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

There is no sourse needed, your are not the boss here ok.Matt Striker calls them The Ruthless Roundtable so its the team name, and don't say he doesn't pick the names, because he said David Hart Smith and Tyso Kidd where The Hart Trilogy, and the second he said it,boom,it was up here and posted at the team name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.154.55.23 (talk) 21:46, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Hornswoggle

Is it still necessary to have the kayfabe son of Finlay note by his name? That storyline seems to be finished and they are on two different brands and never interact with each other anymore. --Crazy4metallica (talk) 03:02, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

its listed as such till wwe says some thing other wise just cause there on different brands dose not mean its stopped--Dcheagle (talk) 22:45, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Then on Kane and Underdater, shouldn't it say kayfabe brother of each other? --Crazy4metallica (talk) 08:31, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
If you want to put it in that there brothers then be Bold and add it but we can not remove the tag that Hornswoggle is Finliys Keyfabe son till WWE says other wise.--Dcheagle (talk) 15:07, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

New Announcer

Tapings have shown that Lauren Meyhew was present on this Friday's upcoming SmackDown tapings, filling the announcers role. Now WWE doesn't usually bring in completely new talent unless they're there for a long run because they have a big thing on continuity, therefore it should probably be added that she is Justin Roberts' replacement as announcr on SD, whilst Justin himself is moved to Raw as Lilian's replacement.

do you have a source.--Dcheagle (talk) 23:49, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Only from the spoilers of this weeks results from Lords of Pain, but I guess we'll just have to wait it on until then to see if its right.

if thats all you have it will have to wait till it airs.--Dcheagle (talk) 01:02, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Well it seems I was wrong, but I'm pretty sure she's all signed up. I might've been wrong on the exact tapings she comes on, or just the whole situation in general. We'll have to wait it out, but don't be surprised if you see Lauren Meyhew's name come up at some point.

Yes we will have to wait WWE hasn't made any announcements as to Lauren Mayhew's employment.--Dcheagle (talk) 04:05, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Roberts' profile has been moved to the Raw roster page, which pretty much confirms my theory.

No it hasnt Roberts Profile is still on the Smackdown roster page. I don't know were you had seen that it was on Raw but its not.--Dcheagle (talk) 00:06, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I got all confused. It seems the whole situation has taken another turn. Mayhew was scheduled and did appear for this weeks tapings of SD. When I said she'd appear, it was basically saying she'd be at this weeks tapings, I just assumed it'd be last weeks one (if that makes any sense) anyway she was there but taken off after the dark match and replaced with Roberts. It was reported on Lords of Pain that she wasnt on time and messed up, she was taken off and then made notes the rest of the night. So once again nothing can be confirmed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.170.106.99 (talk) 22:02, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Tony was on last nights Smackdown. As for Jim Duggan I have no idea.--Dcheagle (talk) 00:16, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Ok that problems solved but I don't think Justin should be listed twiceWwe.fana (talk) 11:07, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Where is he listed twice--Dcheagle (talk) 11:39, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Wait are you talking about how he's listed as being on both raw and smackdown if so that was done because there has been no official word from wwe and all the sources that we have point to him still working for smackdown but there have been editors that believe that he is working for raw so as a way to meet in the middle he is listed as being on raw and smackdown till we get word from wwe as to were he will work.--Dcheagle (talk) 11:50, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

I've just said this above, Justin ROberts is now on Raw he is listed there on the roster (he actually is this time) and he's been announcing there for Raw and Raw's segment of Superstars for the past fortnight, Chimel has been moved to SmackDown and newcomer Lauren Mayhew has been doing the same for ECW these past two weeks. I don't see how any more proof is needed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.107.219 (talk) 13:59, 15 October 2009 (UTC) Fixed--Dcheagle (talk) 21:07, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Tag Team Edit War

Ok there seems to be a lot of disagreement over the names of the tag teams in the WWE. Can we please come to a consensus on things and end the edit war now.John546 (talk) 03:23, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

if people continue to put unsorced inforation on this issue i will revert it and warn users. tag teams names will stay the way they are till you have a SOURCE THAT STATES THE NAME OF THE TAG TEAM. Then and only then should it be changed.--Dcheagle (talk) 03:53, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Jeria-show

unless the point of this is to keep false info on the page thenn big show and jericho should be called jerio-show. Big show refered to them as this at least twice on raw and with everything else this is called relerbal. So would someone please change the name so the artica is correct and if you don't that means you can't admit your wrong like a selelct group of wikipedia users.82.21.192.131 (talk) 16:35, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

It is more a nick name than a tag team. They've yet to be booked as Jerishow. All their matches the graphic says Chris Jericho and The Big Show, not Jerishow.--WillC 22:37, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Exactly, so until we see this please leave it as Chris Jericho and The Big Show.John546 (talk) 04:01, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

But in the ECW Title is as not go world anywhere in it's name nor been called the ECW World TITle by introduces. So if this don't count then that shouldn't cause to me it looks like you just make the rules as you go on. If you keep on this was wikipedia views will go down as they already are82.21.192.131 (talk) 17:28, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Yes but WWE it self calls the Ecw Title a World Title so that stays. But as Chris Jericho and The Big Show have not been listed in a Match as "Jerishow" then we dont list that as the name of the team. If they do ever get listed as that then we will make the changes till then just sit tight and wait and see.--Dcheagle (talk) 18:34, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Everyone i have asked as said the same as me that that is there name if you are to stubgben you are makeing wikipedia a wrong place and soon others will find other places to find stuff on as i have started to do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.21.192.131 (talk) 16:54, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Now, if anyone watched Raw, they were clearly called Jeri-Show on their pre-match graphic against DX. If anyone remembers this happening before, it happened with Rated-RKO. They referred to themselves as Rated-RKO, and their match screen graphics said Rated-RKO, but they were never called to the ring or did their namebar when they were entering say Rated-RKO —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.177.9.29 (talk) 08:15, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Speaking of which Rated-RKO has their own page on wikipedia, yet Jeri-Show still doesn't deserve it? Why, pray tell, is that? Especially considering Jeri-Show's title reign is significantly longer and more notable than Rated-RKO's. The WP:PW time and time again make hypocritical decisions. It seems that a number of users are in an edit war over what the tag team of Chris Jericho and The Big Show and the tag team of William Regal, Vladimir Kozlov, and Ezekiel Jackson should be called. From what i can tell in page history the Users

Seem to be warring over the names. I think its time that this problem be resolved with out having to take this to administrator. So both users post your concerns here and lets talk this out and come to some kind of meeting point on this issue.--Dcheagle (talk) 21:54, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Chris Jericho and Big Show have been referred to and referred to themselves as Jerishow on Raw several weeks in a row now. I don't think there's any disputing that one. As far as Regal's crew, I don't think they've actually called THEMSELVES anything, but Striker calls them Ruthless Roundtable. Since they haven't called themselves that though, it's kind of iffy. Wwehurricane1 (talk) 23:21, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I agriee with you on the Jerishow issue but the problem at hand is the fact that the two editers above are change what the two tag teams are called many times a day.--Dcheagle (talk) 23:30, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
I get that. I was just giving my input to maybe help resolve the issue. If you end up taking it to Admins, I thought maybe we should have some kind of consensus on what SHOULD be there that they can see. Wwehurricane1 (talk) 00:09, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
I dont think it will go all the way to the admins but if it does we should be able to have a consensus before.--Dcheagle (talk) 00:22, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Ok although I disagree, I'm fine with JeriShow being the name of that team. I can not say the same about "The Ruthless Roundtable" though. I have yet to hear this as their OFFICIAL name. John546 (talk) 01:16, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
They have been called JeriShow by not only them selves but by other wrestlers so i say we put that up as the offical name and as for The Ruthless Roundtable I also have yet to hear them called that.
Sounds good to me. So are all the issues fixed as of right now? John546 (talk) 22:07, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Dudebusters

Curt Hawkins and Trent Baretta have been mentioning Curt as a member of the Dudebusters in their tweets. Can anyone help me find a reliable source to confirm? 98.214.80.128 (talk) 06:56, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

NOT the WCW Joe Gomez in FCW

The Joe Gomez in FCW, ring name Jose Ediel, is not the Joe Gomez from WCW. All though both men share the real name of Joe Gomez, one is older, and the other is younger(from WXW). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.122.49.199 (talk) 20:46, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

How clever. One is older and one is younger...thanks for pointing out the obvious.Taker04 (talk) 20:52, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov

Which is the team name of William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov? I do this question because though Ezekiel Jackson has separated of the group, it does not want to say that Regal and Kozlov also should have done it, this can be verified in the edition of November 26 (2009) of WWE Superstars where Vladimir Kozlov comes accompanied by William Regal; and I am sure that the group already is not called "The Ruthless Roundtable" because according to WWE.com ""The Ruthless Roundtable" it dissolved".

You Should Change The Team Of M.V.P. And Mark Henry To Their Actual Name, The World's Strongest Tag Team. I Mean, That's What Everybody's Calling Them!!!!

I wait for some response.
Thank you for his attention.
--XOTERS (talk) 07:37, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Uh, no. Just because some people online are calling them "The World's Strongest Tag Team" doesn't mean squat, WWE has never giving any indication that is their name. TJ Spyke 03:17, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Actually TJ, it was mentioned this past week. I believe it was Michael Cole who said "They're calling themselves The World's Strongest Tag Team". 98.214.80.128 (talk) 10:22, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Paul Burchill

Paul Burchill should be re-added to the ECW roster, its obvious that he is the masked man that attacked Hurricane on Superstars when he faced Zack Ryder, the body shape, even the attire was nearly the same. Just add to the notes section, its unlikely to be anyone else before this turns into some heated debate (86.165.220.204 (talk) 13:22, 5 December 2009 (UTC))

I'm sorry, but we'll have to wait for a reliable source that says it's Burchill. Plus, we can't just say he's Burchill because of the fact that he looks like him. I say you should wait for a reliable source--The Celtic Cross (talk) 23:51, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Jackson is still part of the Ruthless Roundtable

He fought alongside Regal and Koslov last night on ECW, so at least at the moment, he is actively part of the Stable still. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.60.159.51 (talk) 17:24, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

punk and gallows

Punk and Gallows are a group/tag team and should be labeled as such 24.168.27.158 (talk) 23:31, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

We need to wait till they do more matches as a team so far they have only done one match together give it a little more time then we can add them as a team.--Steam Iron 07:06, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Gallows is Punk's follower, they are not a tag team (it's like a bodyguard situation; they may team up once in awhile but that doesn't make them a tag team). TJ Spyke 19:46, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
When they gain more people to their group should they be added to the teams? I also that blurb about Jimmy Wang Yang joining their group should be removed because there is no solid proof of that. 216.15.71.127 (talk) 00:55, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Show Miz

Firstly, the team of Big Show and The Miz should obviously be added now. Secondly, they had the segment where the miz called them Miz Show then Show called them Show Miz (as in Show Biz), Miz agreed and the announcers seemed to confirm it post-segment. Is it ok to refer to them as Show Miz or does WWE.com have to make a posting with that name first? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.214.80.128 (talk) 07:16, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Tag teams and stables

I don't like repeating myself, so I'll copy the edit summaries.

  • The point of this article is to identify the WWE employees. It's purpose is not to go into details about WWE storylines — which is what the tag teams are.
  • It doesn't matter how long they've been here, they don't belong here. We're supposed to improve the encyclopedia, not keep irrelevant information because it's been here for years...
  • The tag teams and stables are too trivial for their own article, therefore they shouldn't get one. But they DO NOT belong in this article.

Unless a valid reason come up for keeping these in here, and consensus can support that reason, the tag teams will be removed. iMatthew talk at 20:33, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Like all things, let's take a consensus to see if we should keep it or get rid of it. But please don't take it upon your self to get rid of it.

My take--we keep it.

Since there are tag team championships, there is a tag team division, so we should list those who make up the teams. We mention everybody else's function on the show (it's not just a list of names), so for that reason, the teams should stay.

Vjmlhds 17:11, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

  • This is a list of employees, your answer does not tell me why tag teams belong on the employees list. iMatthew talk at 23:13, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Matthew for the same reasons listed above. This has already been brought up to the project in the past and if I recall correctly, they had no problem with removing Stables and Tag Teams from the list. Wwehurricane1 (talk) 00:25, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
  • If they are not going to be kept here, I support a new page listing Current WWE Tag Teams and Stables. If that idea is refuted outright, then I propose we leave them here. This is an encyclopedia and to say that information is not encyclopedic is nothing short of absolutely false. It belongs on Wikipedia somewhere. Period. Dahumorist (talk) 01:37, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
    • Sure, let's call the information encyclopedic. It does not belong in this article, so if you'd like to find a place to put them, go ahead. But there needs to be a good reason to keep them here other than "there's nowhere else to put them." iMatthew talk at 02:54, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
      • I'm just suggesting a new page that can be added into the WWE template alongside the Talent section. Is that not a simple resolution? Also, keep in mind this is an issue, not just on this page, but the TNA, ROH, and whatever other roster page out there. With that in mind, my alternate suggestion--- perhaps we make a page on Active Tag Teams and Stables in Pro Wrestling or something to that extent. List by company (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc.) Surely that conglomeration of information can fall outside the realm of "trivial", and earn its own page. Dahumorist (talk) 08:26, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Isn't the information already listed on the wrestlers' articles? Why is there a need to create a new article for information that is already available somewhere else? It certainly doesn't belong in this article, but I don't think it warrants its own article either since the information can be found elsewhere. Wwehurricane1 (talk) 23:43, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Just because it is available "somewhere on Wikipedia" doesn't mean the information is reasonably accessible. If somebody wanted to look for a list of WWE wrestlers, well then here it is. If somebody wanted to look for WWE tag teams, they'd be outta luck. Dahumorist (talk) 23:52, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Fair enough. I don't think its necessary, but if you want to create it, I wouldn't be against it.Wwehurricane1 (talk) 23:58, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

NXT Rookies

Should I add what brand the rookies will be appearing in with their mentors?--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 16:47, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

John Morrison & R-Truth

On the 3/5/10 Smackdown, when Truth and Morrison won the triple threat #1 contenders match for the tag titles, Striker referred to them as "Truth & Wisdom". Looks to me like if they end up teaming on a regular basis (even like Khali & Hardy have been of late) that's probably gonna be their nickname. Anyone wanna add it, since I can't?Taker04 (talk) 20:57, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

Maria on WWE.com

I know that Maria was released from the WWE, but her profile is still up on WWE.com, which is weird. I think the WWE faked her release, since she's going to be on Celebrity Apprentice. What do you guys think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yugiohmike2001 (talkcontribs) 00:12, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Reliable sources for Cade and Nova

I have been notified that the source for Lance Cade and Super Nova are unreliable. Can someone find sources that are reliable for Wikipedia on the two being in the WWE?--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 04:04, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Shawn Michaels

On Shawn Michaels' page, he is not yet being listed as a "former professional wrestler" or even as being retired. In fact, it still lists him as wrestling on the RAW brand. The reason being, there is not yet a reliable source saying it's an actual retirement or kayfabe. That being said, shouldn't this article be consistent with that one? There's not even a mention of him on here. If he's going to continue to be listed as a member of the roster on his page, he should probably remain on the list here, even if he's listed as "inactive" in the notes column. Kjscotte34 (talk) 12:06, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

I just read that Jack Swagger just became World Heavyweight Champion after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract during SD's taping. I saw it on WrestleZone, but I want to wait until a reliable source post this news. Want me to move the World title from Chris Jericho to Jack Swagger?--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 04:05, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Wrestling Observer is reporting it also. But when it comes to spoilers, you'll never get them to stay. If God himself came down from Heaven and held a press conference telling the world that Jack Swagger was cashing in his MITB contract and winning the World Heavyweight Title on Smackdown, it would still get reverted. Wwehurricane1 (talk) 04:26, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Bret Hart

Bret Hart is still signed with WWE and is set to appear on RAW this week to announce ShowMiz as the greatest tag team of all time. so he should still be listed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.178.43.209 (talk) 05:24, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Joey Mercury

He isn't suppose to be in the Unassigned employees section. He's on Smackdown as that hooded guy that attacks Rey Mysterio. And he is in the Straight Edge Society. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Damian0358 (talkcontribs) 16:32, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Strait Edge Society

Should the hooded wrestler be listed as a member?--Wwe.fana (talk) 11:00, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

I would say no for now seeing as we don't even know who it is.--Steam Iron 11:38, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Recent changes made by me.

I've recently changed MVP to Montel Vontavious Porter(MVP) and added "Teddy" to Theodore Long. Do you think I made a right choice in doing that or was it a mistake?--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 18:21, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Hide Eliminated NXT Rookies or Move Them Back to FCW?

I got a question. Since it's the first elimination on NXT tonight and there are more eliminations after tonight, are we gonna hide them or move them back to FCW until they appear on either Raw or SmackDown?--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 00:22, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

People adding Spoilers.

People keep adding that Michelle McCool is the new Women's Champion, now in the spoilers that I've read, this is confirmed, but it is yet to be shown on TV or on WWE.com so Beth Phoenix should still be listed as Women's Champion until after the change is recognized on TV and WWE.com, right?--Jeffhardyred (talk) 14:24, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

There's a discussion on this over at WT:PW. Spoilers are allowed when there's a reliable source.TheFBH (talk) 15:07, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

MVP

I don't want an edit war on this page because of MVP. I just wanna take the facts. His ring name is simply MVP. Just go with WWE.com, Matt Striker, Todd Grisham AND the ring announcers. On http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/mvp/bio/ you don't find Montel Vontavious Porter, only MVP! Matt Striker and Todd Grisham always call him MVP. I think it is ok if there is MVP (Montel Vontavious Porter) but NOT Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP)! On Youtube you can see it that I am right http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OviupR2DlvU (Time: 6:37) Plus he had MVP'S VIP Lounge NOT Montel Vontavious Porter's VIP Lounge. Look at the results of the latest SmackDown: http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/results/ : MVP! When MVP comes to the ring the optical font is MVP, too. So please stop editing it into Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP)! @ Curtis23 and Yugiohmike2001 --Hixteilchen (talk) 02:50, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

His names is Montel Vontavious Porter and he also goes by his initials of MVP and for the simple fact that he goes by both it looks better in the table to have it listed as Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP).--Steam Iron 04:03, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

This ends here please start a dessication over MVP's name this is getting out of hand if it continues I will have the page locked from any one being able to edit the page. Do no further action leave the name as is till consensus has been met.--Steam Iron 23:46, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Then provide a reliable source that his ring name is Montel Vontavious Porter! His ring name is simply MVP! I got these sources: SmackDown TV (Matt Striker and Todd Grisham) and WWE.com. --Hixteilchen (talk) 02:17, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

SES's Masked Man

Should the Masked Man from the Straight-Edge Society be added to the SmackDown brand until he reveals himself?--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 04:09, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

I would say no seeing as we have no idea who he is.--Steam Iron 04:10, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, I've asked because I think at WWE Over The Limit, if Rey loses and joins SES, The Masked Man will reveal himself. I wanted to add him to the Other on-air employees with Unknown in the real name section, "Attacker for CM Punk" in the role section, and "Identity yet to be revealed" in the notes section.--Yugiohmike2001 (talk) 04:19, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
I would wait tell then to add him and when he is reviled we just put in a note saying he was the maksed man.--Steam Iron 04:23, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
