Melton Mowbray pork pie[edit]

I have removed the Melton Mowbray pork pie from the list of 'Applications' as it was granted Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) in 2008. --CavallèroTalk!! 12:00, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ordering and Titling[edit]

I've reordered the list to match the order given on the DOOR database ([1])(1.1 Fresh Meat, 1.2 Meat Prodcuts, 2.1 Beers etc). I've also amended the list titles to match those of the classes on DOOR. Sotakeit (talk) 08:46, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List is out of date - also note Isle of Man is technically not part of the UK — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.226.49.234 (talk) 15:19, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Status for Japan[edit]

Japan is listed as having zero in the early part of this article, next to Korea. There are many in Japan, though. The database being used is either mistaken or there is some kind of misunderstanding. TKe for example Kobe beef, or ryuukyuu awamori. Kobe beef is generically used, just as champagne often is, but it must be black short hair from Hyogo butchered in Kobe, Amagasaki, etc. 2001:268:922D:3FE0:2C82:275:7A0A:B711 (talk) 02:15, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
