Things to do[edit]

Big thanks to Pharos for putting up the first 8 seasons three years ago. I just put up the last 10 seaeons today. The number of missing episodes in the "List of seasons" section needs to be updated. Also, some of the episode titles are unknown and listed as "(Title is Unknown)" and should be updated if new information is found. All the data for the last 10 seasons (seasons 9 through 18) came from Jerry Haendiges site (it is the first link in the References section). Spelling and capitalization needs to be chacked as I'm not good at that. - Hydroxonium (talk) 06:11, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is awesome... many thanks! In a perfect world, each of these would have a one-sentence plot synopsis, and would also note in what form it has been released (on LP, on cassette, on CD). But it seems as if that information is just not available anywhere. I am astounded at how many lost episodes there are. I would have thought that the producers would have kept copies of them all! But I guess they had no idea people would care about these shows, decades later. — Lawrence King (talk) 17:17, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, plot summary info would be great. Most of the preserved episodes are floating around the net as MP3 files. I was hoping that fans would stop by here and write summary information as they listened to episodes. The article states "Radio scripts are available for the series including the missing episodes..." so theoretically summary info could be added for most of the episodes. - Hydroxonium (talk) 09:52, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've corrected the number of episodes and missing episodes. Spelling and capitalization still need to be checked - Hydroxonium (talk) 11:09, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added writer info[edit]

I've added writer information to seasons 10 through 18. The information came from the "Street & Smith Radio Scripts: The Shadow" link in the references section. - Hydroxonium (talk) 10:52, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This doesn't add up[edit]

The first paragraph says "The 665 episodes aired over 18 seasons," but I added up the numbers in the first table under "List of seasons," and got a total of 676 episodes.

The third paragraph says "450 episodes are missing and 4 episodes incomplete from Season 1 through Season 12, and Season 13 through Season 18 are entirely missing but for one episode." The table says there are only 175 missing episodes from the first twelve seasons, and only 448 from the entire series. WaxTadpole (talk) 21:20, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I've solved this problem recently.--Pharos (talk) 03:25, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Juggernaught[edit]

It was listed as lost. But I'm listening to it right now, so that seems unlikely.

And I just found I have Scent of Death and Death From the Deep, so they are also not likely to be lost. They don't seem to be recreations or later vinyl recordings or from the Australian adaptation.

The Case of the River of Eternal Woe[edit]

4-15-1945 episode never aired b/c FDR died. I'd put it on the list, but it would require changing every episode number 1945-1954 and that's way too much work. 2600:1700:9700:7010:2E:BEC2:31DD:6E6B (talk) 19:03, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
