Unlocking the Secrets[edit]

There's an episode on USA right now. My TiVo says it's called "Unlocking the Secrets" and dates it 2006. It's essentially a clip show summarizing the first two seasons. It should probably be mentioned with the third season? -VJ 21:43, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yea, Third season. Matthew Fenton (TALK - CONTRIBS) 21:46, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone know when the original airdate was? -VJ 22:03, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Season 4?[edit]

Is there going to be another season?--Migospia 01:42, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, episode press releases should start coming out soon as well. Matthew 07:29, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing[edit]

Episode titles should not be added until verifiable (press releases, reliable TV listings, etc), the same goes for information in regards to episodes. Matthew 18:31, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

People, please note that this does NOT include imdb, tv.com, or fan-sites.. Illyria05 (Talk  Contributions) 20:25, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The series info removed has been re-added. Information used to compile it was sourced from the cast or crew of the series - it has not just been fabricated. In addition to this, the template at the head of the section clearly states "It may contain non-definitive information based on commercials, a website or interviews." - We can't get more reliable than the people working on the site. Might add a ref and a spoiler tag to that section. --Dancraggs 11:08, Monday May 7 2007 (UTC)
Please state from where, with a verifiable source. You "hearing from the cast and crew" is not good enough. See WP:NOR. The tag also doesn't mean you can insert non-cited information, rather that verifiable information may not be factual. Matthew 11:11, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Had you given me chance to find the sourcing site, I'd have put it on there. It's there now in the section heading. That site has three or four sources for information per episode, including interviews. This is now cited information. --Dancraggs 11:21, Monday May 7 2007 (UTC)
The4400guide.com is a fansite and blog, hence fails policies and guidelines. Only verifiable secondary/primary sources are acceptable. Matthew 11:24, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
At least add the broadcast dates of the other episodes to the list. Leave the title as 'TBD' if necessary. --Dancraggs 17:48, Monday May 7 2007 (UTC) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dancraggs (talkcontribs) 17:48, 7 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]
They're not verifiable either though. The information will appear once it becomes verifiable, keep an eye on USA Network's TV Guide (not to mention empty cells are just clutter...) Matthew 17:52, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The broadcast dates are at FutonCritic, which you have cited as a verifiable source. Travisl 19:00, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah yes, they are indeed (this is why people should/need [to] cite there sources though!). A valid point remains though that it would just be the air date, which on its own (this is just directed at air date) seems quite clutter-ish to me. Unlike a synopsis or a title an air date is (while essential) more a trivial part, that is my opinion anyway -- if consensus differs then I'll accept that. Matthew 19:05, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's an important fact that a verifiable source is on the record that all 13 episodes will be run on 13 consecutive weeks with no breaks (unlike season 2, which had a one week break in July). Travisl 19:22, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I believe we could do that with prose? Don't you? We could note it in the lead-in, or (this would personally be by second choice) in the season four section. I'd personally prefer prose over lots of empty cells. I'd perfectly happy noting the straight 13 week run in text, because it is useful information (considering most shows take a break). Matthew 19:26, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, series such as Lost have breaks before the last five episodes, after the first five episodes, etc. and I recall that when Lost went into end-season break, the dates weren't exactly announced. Anyway, what's a week? byeee 19:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Season 5?[edit]

Is there going to be another season? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.226.52.110 (talk) 03:44, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

nope, cancelled end of 2007 -- and I am personally happy. I loved the show, in spite of the often too-complex story arcs those poor characters were put through, but WOW that ending episode (which acted as a season ender, plus potential series ender) was FANTASTIC and ended on a perfect note. Kinda like the last "true" episode of Futurama. No need for a Season 5, IMHO. 199.214.27.149 (talk) 20:22, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I'm suggesting merging all the episode except Pilot (The 4400 episode) and maybe The Great Leap Forward (The 4400 episode), as they are not notable, as they do not provide real-world information (i.e. production, reception). If people are planning to add this, I'm sorry, just trying to help. Everyoneandeveryone (talk) 19:15, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't agree with the merge. The individual pages have much more information.93.167.68.230 (talk) 20:40, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That information would be merged here, not just deleted. Rich Farmbrough, 04:43, 22 April 2010 (UTC).[reply]
