Preferred Format[edit]

TommyBoy To let you know, preferred format is similar to List of Sigma Nu members or List of Alpha Phi Omega members, but the gallery for the founders isn't needed. Questions can be asked here or at WP:FRAT.Naraht (talk) 15:02, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Naraht Thank you for your advice, I corrected the listings for former Congressman Ed Edmondson and former Oklahoma Governor David Hall, after adding former Nebraska Governor Charles Thone to the list, having previously created all three articles. TommyBoy-In reality, having references is more important that format. Are a large number from a list on the FIJI website or in the FIJI pledge manual?Naraht (talk) 19:06, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Naraht, I am not sure about that but the article on Charles Thone was recently updated to reflect his membership in Phi Gamma Delta, and the names of two other articles I previously created on Ed Edmondson and David Hall were already on this list. Any further assistance in verifying that information and updating this list and those articles would be most appreciated.--TommyBoy (talk) 01:09, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

TommyBoy The next step is probably verifying against primary sources (which are generally viewed as good enough for this). The easiest way to do broad swathes is from pages like https://www.phigam.org/government . Verify that everything in the Wikipedia list is on the Phigam website list, and add <ref name=Politics/> for the ones that are there, and then go through and add those that aren't in phigam website list to this one with the reference. Naraht, the listing for Ed Edmondson already includes a reference which also mentions David Hall and Charles Thone, and I have used that information to update their listings in this article.--TommyBoy (talk) 20:15, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
