Redirect[edit]

@Schmarrnintelligenz started a list of notable Montessori schools on this page with these edits. I'm not sure that such a list would have encyclopedic value, but if it should be created, a logical name for it would be List of Montessori schools. --Slashme (talk) 21:22, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As there were already three "Montessori S/school/s" redirects from three different users @Rbellin, Skysmith, and Clean Copy: and the Category:Montessori schools having ~100 entries I found them misrepresented in the article Montessori education. @R'n'B: also seemed OK having a list[1], so I would like to ask if we could get a consensus to move and improve that list to the lemma you, Slashme correctly suggest. And then redirect the "Montessori S/school/s" titles there. I think when people search for "Montessori school" many of them now end up scrolling up and down in Montessori education. Anyway, I would also see an article about the schools as justified but don't see my ability to write that alone. --SI 09:06, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Schmarrnintelligenz: I've moved Montessori school to this article (List of Montessori schools) to preserve the edit history. However, I've made Montessori school and the captalized version redirect to Montessori education. My reason is that if someone goes to a Wikipedia article called "Montessori school", they expect an answer to the question "What is a Montessori school?" That answer is at the "Montessori education" article, and not at the "list of Montessori schools" article. I have also added a note to the top of the Montessori education page to indicate that "Montessori school" redirects there, and that a list of Montessori schools can be found here. --Slashme (talk) 10:35, 16 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
