Survivors[edit]

Five Members of Parliament elected in 1950 are still alive at the moment:

To these five could be added Tony Benn (b. 1925) who was elected at a November 1950 byelection and so sat in the same Parliament. Sam Blacketer 23:54, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alliance with conservatives[edit]

The National Liberals were in alliance with the Conservatives, bringing total Conservative strength to 262 seats.

Err...weren't the UUP and the Scottish Unionists also in alliance with the Conservatives, bringing total Conservative strength to 298? john k (talk) 11:58, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
