things to do[edit]

  • correct grammar, spelling, syntax mistakes.
  • replace black blanking picture by pictures. use the first appearance form, i.e. do not use jin-roh picture for bunmei muroto nor kerberos panzer cop picture but screenshot from the red spectacles.
  • add short bio to each character and update with cast and official aliases.

uncle wiki wants YOU![edit]

  • we need someone who can read Korean language to translate Kerberos Files in English. it includes organigramms, short descriptions (characters, weapons, etc), ... If you are able to do this for the Kerberos saga articles just say hi. Thanks! Paris By Night 22:37, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Crepemami2.png[edit]

Image:Crepemami2.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Gestapo?![edit]

Hi, sorry but there is no such thing as Gestapo in the Kerberos Saga. As a consequence i had to remove this entry by unregistered editor 71.252.233.152. Please ask experts on the subjects on this discussion page before adding such information in the article. Yes the Kerberos saga is really complex and needs time to figure it out. Cliché Online (talk) 14:04, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

again, unregistered user 173.57.187.153 added Gestapo nonsense, i had to revert it. both IP are from Texas, it might be the same person. Cliché Online (talk) 23:59, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
ok he is now known as a vandal adding random edits and nonsense to te kerberos saga articles. i had to issue a warning. please watch over him. Cliché Online (talk) 05:17, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alphabetical sort[edit]

i think an alphabetical sort will suit better this character list, it would be easier for kerberos saga newbies to find infos. it requires a complete overhaul of the current list. i'll start working on a test version of the redone list with alphabetical sort as soon as possible. Cliché Online (talk) 05:17, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For me as newbie (only seeing Jin-Roh and Stray Dogs) I'm thinking a far more better way to strukture this list would be to list the groups in a structural way instead of simply in alphabetic order! e.g.
1 Self-Police (自治警)
1.1 Metropolitan Police Department (警視庁)
2 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (陸上自衛隊)
2.1 1st Airborne Brigade (第1空挺団)
3 Metropolitan Security Police Organization "M.P." (首都圏治安警察機構 ~首都警~)
3.1 Metropolitan Police Defense Division (首都警・警備部)
3.1.1 Special Armed Garrison "Kerberos" (首都警・特機隊 ~ケルベロス~)
3.1.2 Jin-Roh (人狼)
3.2 Metropolitan Police Public Security Division (首都警・公安部)
4 Antigovernment urban guerrilla organizations (反政府組織 都市ゲリラ)
4.1 Revolutionary Communist students
4.2 Sect (セクト)
4.2.1 Little Red Riding Hoods (赤ずきん)
4.3 Four Seasons League (四季協会)
4.4 Middle-East guerrillas
4.5 ANPO Hantai
5 Fast Food Grifters (立喰師)

Consistency of terminology[edit]

So this page is a bit of a mess, probably because every English-language translation of a Kerberos saga work has its own set of terms for the organizations involved. The current terminology seems to be taken from the Japanese edition of Kerberos Panzer Cop. If so it has some claim to canonicity (despite the awkwardness of terms like 'Special Armed Garrison' and the clearly incorrect 'Self-Police', but unfortunately copies of that manga are not widely available. Unless there are objections, I'd like to reorganize the page so that the headings use the terms from the official English translation of Jin-Roh, which is by far the most popular Kerberos work and what most people are likely going to be familiar with going in.

Then again, it might not be practical to reconcile Jin-Roh (which takes place in the 1950s) and the other Kerberos Saga entries (which seem to take place in the 1990s). The movie seems to be a separate continuity, in which case it might not be a good idea to have this page at all. 99.228.108.221 (talk) 03:12, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
