List of Genesis band members?[edit]

The page title (and the link on the Genesis page) state that this is a "list of Genesis band members", whereas in fact the two sections on this page actually show band lineups and member tenure in the band, with neither section giving a list of members, their instruments (in detailed description), and their time in the band, collectively. I would think that a simple list of members would be a good addition to this page, the kind seen on the Journey's page. I think that would suffice as given what the other sections on this page contain, I don't believe a grand list of members such as those for Black Sabbath and Deep Purple would be necessary. I will go ahead and implement a list, if anyone has any thoughts on the matter I'd be eager to hear them. Burbridge92 (talk) 11:34, 31 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Took the liberty of removing "bass" as one of Steve Hackett's instruments throughout. None of the records list Steve Hackett as a bass-player. Bernhard Fabricius (talk) 12:09, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Former/Current members[edit]

I have taken the liberty of changing "Former" to "Current" and moving the "Former members" sections down, because the band has not officially split up (as of January 2018 anyway). TammyMoet (talk) 13:53, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Six Of The Best featuring Julie Ichitel[edit]

Julie Ichitel's listed as a band member on 'Six Of The Best' but I think this is a mistake. I've not heard of her and can find nothing about her in regard to Genesis on Google. Genesis have never had a touring band member of her name or a violinist. Unless someone has some information about her, I will remove her name from the Six Of The Best line-up. Thanks. • Agreed that the listing of Julie Ichitel was spurious, but don't you think that the 'Six Of The Best' should be listed? - this page is very complete (and admirably so!). Bernhard Fabricius (talk) 12:07, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do we need a "Session" section?[edit]

Twice in Genesis' history (three times if you count the orchestration on 'From Genesis to Revelation') have non-members contributed to recordings: The Phenix Horns on 'Abacab' and Nick D'Virgilio and Nir Zidkyahu on 'Calling All Stations'. Should there be a "Session" section listing their contributions? Bernhard Fabricius (talk) 12:16, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

2000 In "Lineups"[edit]

There was more than one performance in 2000: a tribute to their manager in September and performances for the documentary in the fall (released in 2001). I revised accordingly. 2603:7000:3400:29E1:29C6:589C:8381:A021 (talk) 23:59, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
