Are You Smarter than A 5th Grader? I think it'd be shown later this July.[edit]

GMA and Q Asianovelas[edit]

Let's discuss it here.

For almost one year of monitoring this page, I've noticed that this section has no reliable sources. When I marked this section for lack of reference, no one even bothered to find sources that these asianovelas will really be airing on GMA or Q. All the other editors do is to add more asianovelas to the list.

Also, some of the asianovelas listed in this section are still here after one year! (e.g. Fashion 70's, Be Strong, Geum Soon!, etc.) Are these shows will really be airing soon?

So for now, I decided to hide this section momentarily until proper citations will be found. If you have any comments regarding this matter, kindly reply to this thread. Thank you. -Danngarcia 10:17, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the multiple invalid <ref name="multiple"/> that led to no offsite reference. They were evidently placed to give the illusion of references, but upon further review, in fact were not references at all. Each reference must be cited, if it is a repeat of one already cited, Wikipedia will manage them automatically. I've also fixed all of the links that just had numbers, with no explanation to what they were. One of the references seems to be written in half English, half (mostly) Filipino (if that's the correct language, Philippine news source) and is mostly unintelligible to English speakers. The following are not "produced by" foreign companies, they are produced by GMA Network, and are licensed by those foreign companies:

Rosalinda is not produced by Televisa
Stairway To Heaven is not produced by SBS Network)
Hole In The Wall is not produced by FremantleMedia
Power of 10 is not produced by Sony Pictures Television
Survivor Philippines is not produced by Castaway Television (this is produced by GMA News and Public Affairs)
Celebrity Duets is not produced by FremantleMedia and Simco
Ripley's Believe It or Not! is not produced by Ripley Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television (although it features original footages from "Ripley Entertainment"

Please discuss whether I'm right or wrong.

17 Feb 2010 upcoming shows reformat[edit]

I have reformatted the upcoming shows section because there is too much sub-section with very little details, making it look very unencyclopedic. I have merged "original story", "korean adaptations", "musical", "komiks adaptation", etc. into one. I have also removed "creator" section, of course all of these programmes are created by GMA, instead I added a "head writer" section, giving credit to the writers of the show. --- ISWAK3 ^TALK 13:10, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

PHILLIPINES TV SERIES OR SHOW? Is that RIGHT?[edit]

Why other contributors renaming the title/name of the show like this: Rosalinda (Philippines TV series), it must be PHILIPPINE not PHILIPPINES . Another is putting subtitles without basis. Good example for that is the article "Captain Barbell (Ang Pagbabalik)". GMA-7 did not released the title with the word "ANG PAGBABALIK" Please fix this. Thanks.
