There is no copyvio on this page. If the bot detected a copyvio, it was from a mirror of wikipedia. This content was copied from another wikipedia page List of world records in masters athletics, which duplicates a large percentage of the same content and provides the format. I am now trying to use that structure to update content to make the new article accurate for the named subject. This will take a lot of edits. I entered the majority of the data on the original page and probably will also have to do the same on this one until it gets fully edited. Trackinfo (talk) 01:18, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the note. You're fine here since our material is free to copy. One note for future, the license also requires attribution, which can be as simple as an initial edit summary saying "content copied from (article), see that page for attribution." Or you can use the "copied" template which accomplished the same thing after-the-fact. I'll apply that momentarily. Thanks for the article! CrowCaw 00:20, 20 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • By the nature of World Records, many are set by athletes representing countries defined as Europe, the most active region in the sport of Masters athletics. This was a logistical decision to copy the duplicate records and formatting. Based on the added official source, the European records will get added. Its a lot of work so this will take some time. Because of the size of the source article, it is cumbersome to have that much (wrong) information on the page. So I removed it. As we add each section we will copy from the source article then pare it down, minimizing the amount of wrong information posted during the editing process. • No worries, as of now all is up to date. Just if you copy any material directly in future, just have your edit summary link the page where you got it. Thanks, CrowCaw 20:26, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Location flags[edit]

I suggest to remove location flags. Flags at this point have no added value and, above all, take up space. Any comments, pros and cons? Montell 74 (talk) 08:14, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. They have no use. WeiaR (talk) 14:34, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
