Darı&Tüm vs UK[edit]

There is a recent notable decision of the court, letting Turkish people -even if they are illegal aliens who seek for asylum- to establish business in the EU without any work permit obligations. It is also a sign that the current visa practice against Turkish citizens is illegal. Here are the links:

Do you think it should be added here as a notable decision? --212.31.0.50 14:52, 25 September 2007 (UTC)♠[reply]

The Cassis de Dijon case of 1979 gets very little coverage on this page of ECJ major rulings; the way all of my textbooks refer to, I am surprised. Should it not have a bigger write up?

See this page for more details on the case: http://www.kevinboone.com/lawglos_CassisDeDijon1979.html

Better organisation?[edit]

Hello everyone, there's got to be a better way of organising this page, no? The 2004 list of pre-accession cases is useful, but the rest above is not. The problem is that we can't really have a complete list of cases, as there are about 1500 a year in the CJEU (but maybe with the Grand Chamber?). So it's hard to do something like UKSC cases or SCOTUS cases - it'd just be too long. The problem then is how to define what's notable, as most simply are not. But some chronology would be better. Thoughts very welcome. Wikidea 14:16, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
