This list is supposed to exclude Acts of Parliament. Was the Statute of Merton not an Act of Parliament.James500 (talk) 13:57, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Quite so. In fact there are a few others that have been included, presumably because the page title is a little non-specific. I've rewritten the lede to hopefully make the point clearer, and have removed the offending items. Some of those that I've left standing look a bit suspect to me as well; for example, "Distraint of knighthood 1278"? Andrew Gwilliam (talk) 23:36, 12 July 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Pre-Norman[edit]
