Hello AllegedlyHuman! Would it be more useful for the List of Daunte Wright protests article to have a brief description of the notable protest, rather than just a list of cities. That way a reader gets at least some context about it, such as the date, number of participants, methods or major controversies, etc.? Like a one or two sentence description, and possibly more if especially noteworthy? (e.g., George Floyd protests in Los Angeles County, California) What are your thoughts? I think that would be a logical next step to expanding the article. Eventually, when things calm down a little bit more, we may hopefully have photos of some of these events and multiple events per state, enough to break up into sections like on List of George Floyd protests in the United States. If these protests get really big, each state, major city or even nation (no others yet to my knowledge but it is possible) could have an independent article, like with the example of the George Floyd protests, which were much bigger in scale than these are currently. DoneMinnemeeples: I've finished adding in descriptions for the protests currently listed. I would encourage any user adding a protest to the list from here on out to add a description as well. AllegedlyHuman (talk) 11:08, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It seems so much more purposeful now, thanks to you. Is there a better way to organize it? By state or date? Or this good for now? Minnemeeples (talk) 13:27, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
IMO, it's as useful as it can be for the time being – I figure most people who come to the page will be searching for their city and then maybe other cities they think of, so alphabetical format works for that. When there are more events so there's at least one for most or all states, I would support breaking up by state as List of George Floyd protests in the United States does.
