Rifull & Dauf really dead?[edit]

Until we have seen their corpses I don't think we can truly say that Riful and Dauf are dead. Priscilla would have had no problem killing and eating them (especially in Riful's weakened state) but it just doesn't add up logically or dramatically. The author built up all that time to make us to start feeling sorry for Riful, Riful's death should have been shown as more than just getting stabbed. Also there is that part about what Priscilla was saying, she said that she hadn't quenched her hunger. But when she chewed on Alicia she noted that she didn't like the taste. (oddly enough she also noted that eating people didn't taste any good either) If she truly went after Riful to just eat her, then after chopping her down she would most likely quickly find the girl didn't taste any good either? If Riful didn't taste any good and since she is an Abyssal one, then even if she was chopped up some more she would have survived I think. We also saw Claire almost awakening. Claire's Yoki might have drawn Prisicilla away from Riful before Riful was killed. Well, all I am saying is that we should wait with writing that she was killed until it has been confirmed.Thronedrei (talk) 21:33, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

dunno about the whole " logical or dramatic add up".. but i agree that it can't be said for sure that she's dead.. for now it should be "presumable dead" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.55.135.211 (talk) 07:58, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Riful was torn in half (as seen in chapter 102), and Priscilla tore Dauf to shreds in chapter 103, so they're both dead. 75.157.115.154 (talk) 22:02, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gaheh[edit]

the source or reference is chapter 62, page 22-28. Gaheh seems to be a male claymore who knows Isley, Rigardo, and Dauf. Gaheh seems to be an awakened one "soldier" under luciela's command. Unfortunately his rank is not given. Though it might be reasonable to suppose he's rank #4, but this has NO basis at all, other than he's friends with the other three (Isley, Rigardo, Dauf) male claymores (ranks #1-3)

I just read about how minor characters that really have no significant role, shouldn't be included and this makes sense. Though, there's some hardcore fans of claymore, that want/try to piece together as much of the "annuals of claymores" as possible. As many claymores with their ranks, classes, and generations. The hardcore fans are interested in trying to get as complete a list that we can of all the claymores and what ranks, classes, and generations they belong to. Hardcore fans are interested in the history of all the different claymores that the Organization has gone through.

The Destroyer[edit]

this is purely speculation:

1. is the Destroyer, merely Rafaela's full awakening?

2. is the Destroyer the result of the awakening of merged claymores/awakened ones (rafaela+luciela) ?

3. is the Destroyer the same as the (ancient legend or prophechy of the) "Twin Goddesses of Love" mentioned sparsily through the manga?

They (the Destroyer and the "Twin Goddesses of Love) do have the same image.

4. is it possible that the Destroyer/"Twin Goddesses of Love" is really a Dragon Kin?

5. is Rafaela and Luciela merely two sub-halfs/parts of a Dragon Kin, which Rubel is the "handler/agent" of ?

(maybe the Dragon Kin's side has the exact same structure as the Organization. Rafaela+Luciela could be a split Dragon Kin warrior and Rubel is their agent/handler, and they are both on a mission to infiltrate and destroy the Organization. Which is why the Dragon Kin warrior had to split into Rafaela and Luciela, in order to infiltrate the Organization along with Rubel. However, Raf+Luc forgot how to re-form into their real Dragon Kin or the Destroyer form-body. Until Rubel had clare go help them return to their Dragon Kin form-body called the Destroyer)

HegemonKhan (talk) 14:14, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Awakened Being called the Destroyer was born from the merged form of Raphaela and Luciela (The parasitic spawn bear a slight resemblence to Luciela's Awakened form). As to whether or not the Destroyer is a Dragon Kin... take a look at the scene that depicts an Awakened being fighting two Dragon Kin. No, the Destroyer is not a Dragon Kin. If/when they formally introduce the Dragon Kin into the manga, they will let the readers know. 75.157.110.77 (talk) 07:22, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Elda[edit]

this is purely speculation based loosely on manga content

Elda was rank #5 during Teresa's time, but than got dumped to rank #6 by Priscilla being bumped to Rank #2, Irene being dumped from rank #2 to rank #3, Sophia being dumped from rank #3 to rank #4, and Noel being dumped from rank #4 to rank #5.

It is completely unknown what happens to Elda, because....

In clare's time, rank #1-5 are filled, Hilda is rank #6 (miria will kill an awakened hilda and become rank #6 in her place), rank #7-9 is filled, and most of the other lower-weaker ranks are filled as well. Elda probably wouldn't even be made rank #10 (rank #10 is never told in the manga. undine is rank #11. rank #12 i think is unknown too. rank #13 is veronica), let alone lower-weaker rank. Elda's too strong to be made into rank #10 or even lower-weaker rank.

so, what happened to elda?

when rubel, has clare team up with ophelia against a female awakened one in gonahl village ruins, he tells clare in their meeting that she (the female awakened one they are to kill) was "former single digit" claymore (which elda is/was) and is more powerful than the male awakened one that clare had "just" fought with miria, helen, and deneve. elda could certainly be more powerful than the male awakened one, being a rank #5 in teresa's time.

so, I think it is possible that elda is the female awakened one that ophelia kills while "working with clare" (actually ophelia was trying to kill clare and raki, as well) to kill it.

HegemonKhan (talk) 18:10, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting speculation, but in the end it is just that. That Awakened Being could have been any Claymore out of any rank between 2 and 9 between Riful's generation and Clare's generation. 75.157.110.77 (talk) 22:26, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Main chracters[edit]

Cynthia, Tabitha and Uma should be moved to the minor characters they are no main characters otherwise Teresa and Clarice should me moved to the main characters as well they are more main characters than the others. At some point in the story they where main characters.

Ages?[edit]

Raphaela is older, way older, than Teresa, Teresa is older than Clare, Clare is older than Ophelia (she joined the Organization immediately after Priscilla's awakening, Ophelia sometime after), Ophelia is older than Mira... Does that not make Clare the oldest member of her group? Isley, Rigaldo, and Dauf were amoung the oldest Awakened Beings, and Rubel and the Organization Heads are ageless. Has no one else noticed this? (Granted, the amount of time between each generation of Claymores other than Clare's and Clarice's [note the similar names and identical ranks] isn't specified and the Claymores themselves are ageless.) But Clare could be in her eighties for all we know. 75.157.110.77 (talk) 22:33, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Where did you get your information from? I agree with Raphaela being older than Teresa and Teresa being older than Clare but Miria is older than Clare. We aren't sure whether Ophelia is older than Clare/Miria or younger. Deneve has noted in Chapter 85 that among the seven survivors of the Northern Campaign, Clare is the youngest one. I would say that Clare was in her late teens when first introduced and in her 20's seven years later. Jcdizon (talk) 23:56, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What Happened to Riful[edit]

Did Priscilla eat Riful and Dauf? She said she was hungry... She chowed down on the village she and Raki were in when the Destroyer attacked, which explains how she got her strength back, but said they weren't enough to compensate for 7 years of forced starvation and that "They weren't very tasty. I've been waiting for this." I thought Awakened Beings didn't like eating Yoma, Claymores, and other Awakened Beings, so why would Priscilla eat Riful and Dauf? 75.157.110.77 (talk) 00:51, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

no one knows.. wait till the mangaka decides to reveal it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.55.135.211 (talk) 08:07, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Error with Clare vs. Priscilla[edit]

Someone hashed the manga and anime plots together. For one thing, Jeane is long dead in the manga, and the part where Raki pleads with Clare to spare Priscilla was anime only. Doubtless, her near-awakening in the manga fight was a reference to the anime battle, but Clare just simply can't go yokai due to the trauma she suffered dicing Jeane after fighting Rigaldo, so unless she gets some serious therapy, I doubt the One-Horned Demon will be fighting the Horse-legged Mantis-x-10-Girl any time soon. 75.157.110.77 (talk) 12:14, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Priscilla's Memories[edit]

In the article it says Priscilla got all of her memories back, but in chapter 103 she says that all her memories except one were erased regaining her memory of Teresa. The whole article needs streamlining and revamping, but I think that when it's been said and done this should be corrected. 75.157.115.154 (talk) 22:06, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ranks in Generation Section[edit]

Under the title, "Unknown Arc", someone has listed:

   * #1 Hysteria/#1 Licht/#1 Chloe/#1 Sistina/#1 Roxanne/#1 Lutecia/#1 Cassandra
   * #2 Agatha

Who are #1Hysteria/#1 Licht/#1 Chloe/#1 Sistina/#1 Roxanne/#1 Lutecia/#1 Cassandra? Did someone sneak in their fanfic characters into the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.92.34.212 (talk) 21:39, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hysteria the Elegant, Three-armed Licht, Heavy-Bladed Chloe, Sistina the Divine Oracle, Roxanne of Love and Hate, Lutecia the Universal, and Cassandra the Dust Eater are former number 1's mentioned by the Organization's men in chapter 110. Kyokuto no majo (talk) 00:15, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Blood Eye" Miata?[edit]

I can not find any reference in the Manga that states Miata's nickname is Blood Eye or Blood Eyes.

Please reference chapter and page number. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.192.99.10 (talk) 17:55, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Whats the difference betwwen the Abyssal Feeders v the resurrected claymores[edit]

If memory serves me right, because Abyssal Feeders are created from awakened flesh with a human with no consciousness only hunger, wont the use of an awakened flesh with a dead claymore be a more extreme version

Actually one would think the abyssal feeders would be the best weapon they can use in the other wars the men in black are talking about. If created in sufficent numbers, they wil be able to learn how to attack the the other side as well — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.255.2.50 (talk) 03:36, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
