Therefore I have changed the number to 124.

This ignores the fact that many of these measures have been repealed. For instances, the Patronage (Benefices) Measure 1986 repealed The Benefices Act 1898 (Amendment) Measure 1923, The Benefices (Exercise of Rights of Presentation) Measure 1931, The Benefices (Diocesan Boards of Patronage) Measure 1932, and The Benefices (Purchase of Rights of Patronage) Measure 1933. Missing numbers

Presumably whoever loaded the original list only had a list of unrepealed Measures. My own handwritten list, with details taken from the Measures printed in the sessional/annual volumes from 16 & 17 Geo. 5 (1926) up until 2008, shows no unused numbers. However, there were no Measures passed in 1966, 1973, 1979, 1981, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1996, 2002, or 2004. I will add the missing Measures when I get the chance. Oh, and for the record: 1982 No. 1 was the "Pastoral (Amendment) Measure 1982" (although oddly enough I have a question mark against this short title, so a quick trip down to the library tomorrow will be required to find out what that's about). Mystery explained: the copy of 1982 No. 1 that I looked at has a blank space for the fourth digit in the short title! Anyway, I have now added all the missing Measures. Andrew Gwilliam (talk) 17:50, 20 July 2011 (UTC).
