Lengthy[edit]

This list is becoming ridiculously long. There are a billion people alive in India now, many of whom are Brahmins of one sort or another. Plus all of the historic ones. The list is going to become both unmanageable and even more pointless than it already is. Ideally, I would delete it, along with all similar lists, but I'm wondering how other people might think it can be managed.

I know we have lists for various Brahmin subdivisions but also know that, particularly because we use newspapers so often as sources, those subdivisions often are not identified in the sources - it's a cheap, lazy, easy label for journalists to trot out. - Sitush (talk) 21:30, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
