CineTelFilms merger?[edit]

The problem with this article seems to be not as much that Lisa M. Hansen is not an important person, but that the article comprises three subjects that would usually have three different articles: CineTelFilms, Lisa M. Hansen and Paul Hertzberg. As it is very difficult to find out anything about either Lisa M. Hansen and Paul Hertzberg, I would suggest renaming the article CinTelFilms and focus on the fact that this company has made more than 70 films. Lisa M. Hansen and Paul Hertzberg can be named as founders and their individual roles within the company.

The original contributor has already put an enormous amount of work in, it would be a waste to delete it.

The problem is that not all of Hansen's films involve Paul Hertzberg (such as Trial by Fire). Plus he has his own article. I have not looked into whether if there are any movies made by Hansen that did not involve CineTel, but it's possible. In short, all three of the subjects may deserve their own article. —CodeHydro 19:44, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would agree. I also find it strange that the article on Paul Hertzberg contains very little information on himself, but also seems to focus on the films, yet that article is not up for deletion. This is why I would suggest that the films made by CineTelfilms should be put into one article, saving most of the work done by the contributors. As very little is known about Lisa Hansen or Paul Hertzberg, it is not unlikely that their articles will be deleted over time. They will be mentioned in the CineTelFilms article. How much time is left? --JHvW (talk) 22:36, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a stub for CineTel Films. —CodeHydro 15:03, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge For the reasons given at the end fo the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lisa M. Hansen, I support merging this article into the CineTel Films article. I also support merging the Paul Hertzberg article there. It doesn't seem like either of them is notable outside of the company. Maybe they are, but the two bio articles are terribly sourced. Merging them into th ecompany article would make this somewhat less of an issue. Novaseminary (talk) 03:58, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agree with Nova. The Hollywood Reporter piece is a good start for an article on Cinetel. 160.39.212.104 (talk) 14:55, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Changing the title of the page fails to give credit to one of the few female director, writer, producer in a male dominated environment. Her strides into "the business" are impressive and important for other women and marginalized groups struggling to find work. I would like to see the page left as it is. (and thank you for letting me know of the planned deletion, usually the pages are just deleted) l santry (talk) 20:19, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
