Rewrite[edit]

The article is barely understandable. Someone with expert knowledge should consider rewriting it.

The rock climbing section reads like an add and the article has no real sources. 68.98.132.227 (talk) 02:56, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added to the calk marker section. I added a bit and tried to make it more readable. I agree that this article is barely understandable, and I am willing to help. Amandamayfield11 (talk) 18:13, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Citation for aromas?[edit]

The article has a claim that aromas are added to liquid chalks because of the smell of spirits. I have used liquid chalk for years for rock climbing and weight lifting, but I haven't come across any that had aromas. I also have a hard time imagining a smell that could cover the smell of alcohol as it is a very strong smell. I have my doubts that this is factual.
