Shared use of a popular acronym - Lemco Voight agressively voiding other entries

When more than one industry or topic frequently uses an acronym, it is appropriate for the page to list them all at the top of the page alphabetically, as well as refer to the disambiguation, and provide links to the fully spelled term.

If important to the contributer, due to added emphasis on the use of the acronym, a more detailed article may be listed on the page as is in this case.

However it is inappropriate to repeatedly remove links to a media and banking version of the acronym LTV for the purpose of indicating sole use on Wikipedia. It is also disruptive to redirect a commonly used acronym to a fully spelled term, which does not support the other uses.

Please moniter the contributer for fairness.

After suffering with the rest of the steel industry, LTV Steel filed for bankruptcy on December 29, 2000. The assets were acquired and merged with Weirton Steel to form the International Steel Group.

Maybe this sentence should read

LTV Steel filed for bankruptcy on December 29, 2000. The assets were acquired and merged with Weirton Steel to form the International Steel Group.

There are grumblings amongst some pensioners of LTV that they filed for bankruptcy on purpose to get out of pension payments. I can't prove that they did and you can't prove that they didn't so perhaps we should just make this sentence more neutral.

Anyone know why there's no mention at all of LTV's first bankruptcy in the 1980's?
