Today[edit]

There appear to be no useful sources for the statements "No.115 is officially regarded as "preserved", but recovery is a source of speculation. It may not lay as deep as long thought. Many believe that the locomotive is not far down, probably lying within the confines of the embankment. " It seems to be just uninformed wishful thinking. Exploration attempts?[edit]

The only way the engine's location and the pit's depth can be determined is if someone ventured into it. Has there been any exploration attempts to solve the two mysteries, a drone being sent down maybe?104.62.166.110 (talk) 02:20, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
