Rhode Island as State of Record[edit]

Should we confirm that he seeks the nomination as a citizen of Rhode Island? This is not a cosmetic issue or a search for "Favorite Son" designation. It has potential bearing on qualifications to run as VEEP or the selection of VEEP because the two top candidates cannot come from the same State of Record. This may be a minor issue for Chafee and for the Democrats overall, but for the GOP this is something that bears watching (a BUSH RUBIO ticket would not be possible, unless BUSH re-designates to another state as Hillary Clinton, and before her Robert F Kennedy, did to run for US Senator from NY. Should the state of record be identified here and for each and every candidate, Democrat and GOP likewise? Similarly if Elizabeth Warren decides to run an eventual WARREN-LESSIG ticket is not possible for this reason.
