This appears to be about Limited Partnerships, not Partnership. Should be renamed? Lawdroid (talk) 23:45, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

General partnership, LLP, distinction between English vs Scottish[edit]

I am not a lawyer, but I think this article needs to be expanded substantially.

It should include:

- Limited partnerships (done)
- General partnership and the Partnership Act 1890
- Scottish vs English partnerships
- Limited Liability Partnerships and LLP Act 2000

Deleted deletion proposal[edit]

Since there was no page for this article's deletion, I've removed the tag. Had there been a discussion I would've pointed out that the Partnership Act 1890 applies to the UK - so there is indeed a UK partnership law. That's the page name which I've created as a stub.

True but not really relevant. The differences are substantial, and the act has all kinds of exceptions for scotland. Lawdroid (talk) 22:19, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
