Ideas for further editing[edit]

The main thing that needs to be addressed here is and explanation of the research that has been done on this subject. It is still a relatively new idea but by explaining the various manners in which this gap has been studied a reader will understand its significance better. It can also be linked to multiple other wiki pages like first impressions and other sources like the book Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. These are related topics but there are a lot of other references that could be added to this topic. As it is a relatively new research topic there should not be a lot added to it as of yet but at least a paragraph or two needs to be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LukeMarkham (talkcontribs) 02:25, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Empirical research - still unclear?[edit]

I noticed that one study was referred to in such a way that suggested it was 3 separate studies; it was actually a study with 3 parts so I made changes to attempt to better reflect this. I hope my edits constitute a positive change in terms of clarity.

However, I was unsure about whether the rest of the paragraph from "In another study, videos of first encounters were judged based on..." is intended to refer to that study or a different study? So was unsure how/whether to cite or make any further changes. Kodyq (talk) 04:22, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
