I encourage all interested parties in discussing it to do so. (closed by non-admin page mover) OhKayeSierra (talk) 15:24, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Li DenghuiLi Denghui (educator)Lee Teng-hui exceeds the importance of the educator by so much that I feel like the latter is not the primary topic of "Li Denghui", even if it is the "wrong" romanization for the Taiwanese president. If you google "Li Denghui" prior to 2020 (to avoid recentism bias due to Lee's death which would skew the results even more), the majority of the results are not for the educator. I am undecided whether a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT to Lee Teng-hui or disambiguation is better here. King of ♥ 15:09, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Support I agree with King of Hearts that Li Teng-hui the Taiwan leader is the primary topic even though as an historian I have written about the earlier one. Also, the ZH Wiki article is "李登辉 (教育家)," so your suggested move would be consistent.
"Li Denghui" is also the "wrong" romanization for the earlier one, since he had native-level English and used "T.H. Lee" and "Lee Teng Hwee", but that may just be too complicated.ch (talk) 15:48, 31 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
