Military service[edit]

I can see from GBooks snippets that Swingler seems to have taken time off from the Memphis World to serve in World War II, but I can't figure out enough about it to put anything in the article. If anyone has information on this glaring omission, It'd be nice to fill in some info or else maybe point me toward some sources and I can do it.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 15:56, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
