Birth[edit]

Birth and Death is not realistic. Please look at the following description: https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/mediapacks/windermerechildren/character-biogs#heading-leonard-montefiore --Keks by 18:54, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Age would be 167 years... I cahnge it to my reference --Keks by 18:56, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Andrew Davidson: we have two Leonard Montefiore, both born in London and both are philanthropists? --Keks by 19:01, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Der Keks:. (edit conflict) This article is about a different person. This is Leonard A. Montefiore. The person associated with the Windermere children was Leonard E. Montefiore. I took a quick look at creating a separate article, after viewing the programme, but didn't find enough good sources. Andrew🐉(talk) 19:03, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks, that "E." helps me! I was very confused and Google's automatic infobox told me he is 167 years old. weired! --Keks by 19:06, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The BBC source above may be enough to get a separate stub started. I'm busy with other topics currently, but will help out later, if needed. Andrew🐉(talk) 19:09, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Andrew Davidson: just if you still want to write about him, his full name must be "Leonard Nathaniel Goldsmid Montefiore" (https://www.oxforddnb.com/view/10.1093/odnb/9780198614128.001.0001/odnb-9780198614128-e-111047 in connection with the birth date from https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/mediapacks/windermerechildren/character-biogs#heading-leonard-montefiore) --Keks by 19:12, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Der Keks: That looks promising. I find a reference to Leonard G. here. I've done work at the Wiener Library (Bertha Bracey) and this indicates that they are likely to have more detailed sources. Andrew🐉(talk) 19:24, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
