Plane crash section[edit]

Hi, in the plane crash section, it is mentioned that Wilkenson was the one going to get help and shot by a farmer. This exact story is related to Skynyrd Drummer at that time, Artimus Pyle. Worth checking and fixing. Thank you! Ronnieroxx (talk) 20:53, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Early life section[edit]

This chronology does not read well: Dropped out of school Joined a band (collegiates) Dropped out of the band because of plummeting school grades

If he already dropped out of school, how could his grades be plummeting (you're taken off the rolls, you have no grades) and why would he care?

Unless-----

 He never officially dropped out, just stopped going, and his parents didn't know he wasn't going, and made him quit the band and return to school.

A really sweet guy[edit]

I know this doesn't follow your protocol, but I must say that Leon was really sweet. I knew him personally and tried to help him with his demons. He had a lot of guilt that he survived and others didn't. He'd call me in the wee hours when he was travelling with Rossington Collins. I won't say anymore because he needs to be remembered as the sweetheart he was. And he had the most awesome bass lines. Listen. Just listen. The rhythm section is the best!
