I object to the proposed deletion of this article. Prior to the introduction of the All- Ireland leagues in rugby, the provincial leagues were very inportant. They came in second after the provincial cups. In most cases they are no longer competed for, but to get a full grasp of rugby in Ireland, this article should remain here. I do hope that some others can help with adding detail and sources. Pmunited (talk) 13:32, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
