Has the committee been actually established? – Kaihsu (talk) 17:17, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Standing orders to establish a grand committee of English MPs were approved by the house of commons on 22-10-2015, the committee therefore exists in law but has not yet met. Rude-boy-wayne (talk) 18:22, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Reviewing the standing orders, the term "Grand Committee (England)" is used and I have therefore used a lower case name in the lead paragraph and used the term "grand committee for England" throughout the remainder of the article. I believe that the page name "English Grand Committee" is appropriate as this is in keeping with the grand committees that exist for Scotland and Wales and this term is used by the media to refer to this new committee. I hope I have addressed any concerns you have and seek consent to remove the "unverified / speculation" tag. Rude-boy-wayne (talk) 21:16, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
