Fair use rationale for Image:Review-journal-cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Review-journal-cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Righthaven is looking to back out of their lawsuit with the EFF.[edit]

[1] Looks like they want a dismissal with prejudice for their own claims and want the judge to toss out the EFF's counterclaims at the same time. Torinir ( Ding my phone My support calls E-Support Options ) 12:04, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

History tag[edit]

I removed the refimprove tag from the history section after adding a bunch of cites that pretty much cover it. The radio/TV call letters are not fully explained in the article as they are somewhat convoluted due to simulcasting under various call letters to satisfy FCC regs and some agreements. But, that level of detail isn’t needed and was mostly after they were sold. Perhaps it could be explained at KSNV. If there is still something that needs a cite, point it out and I’ll look for one. Reverting COI editing[edit]

Because virtually all of the recent editing was from a COI source, I have reverted to the last clean version. I will manually restore whatever of the new material appears to be neutral and verified. --MelanieN (talk) 14:46, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Joint operating agreement / Sun[edit]

An interesting article here regarding Adelson's ownership of the Review-Journal] as well as its joint operating agreement with the Sun. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 00:02, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership change in 2015[edit]

The ownership of this paper is massively important, with lots of contradictory info. Wikipedia coverage should help readers to sort out contradictory info. There are a number of articles from major news outlets, and presumably academic publications, about it. I think this aspect needs some improvement; I'm going to collect some source materials here on the talk page, and try to chip away at this a bit. Help welcome.
