Animation[edit]

I suggest an animation of a loop reproducing be created and uploaded for use on this article (as at Wireworld). Alpha Omicron 15:19, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Evoloop and SDSR loop into this article[edit]

Both are variations of Langton's loop, and both articles are quite short. The Evoloop article has been flagged for insufficient context and notability. Merging would handle these concerns. -- Super Aardvark 19:47, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In favour. Alpha Omicron 04:33, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed: Merge Byl's loop and Chou-Reggia loop into this article[edit]

Both pages are very short, and lacking in context. Better we present the descendants of Langton's loops here. - Ferkel (talk) 13:17, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Again, only if the merged article retains sufficient detail that each variation is clearly described, and credited. William R. Buckley (talk) 16:56, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The contents of Byl's loop article (see version prior to merge) were largely lost. I'll restore the article, at least until more of the content is integrated here. --Waldir talk 01:34, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

screensaver[edit]

This looks like one of the modules in XScreenSaver. —Tamfang (talk) 01:45, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't just look like, the "loop" hack literally links to this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.68.194.130 (talkcontribs)
