Lake of the Clouds (Michigan)Lake of the Clouds – Disambiguation is not necessary in this case. The lake in Michigan is the only place named "Lake of the Clouds" that has it's own article on Wikipedia, and as far as I can tell the only place in the world with such a name. Disambiguation from Lakes of the Clouds is achieved by the fact they have different names (ie, 'Lake' vs 'Lakes'). Natural naming is always preferred over the use of disambiguation terms in parantheses. Hatnotes can be added at the top of each page in case of any confusion. I am unconvinced the other two places listed on the current disambiguation page even warrant mention; neither has an individual entry nor would be notable on their own. In any case, if it is decided to be necessary, Lake of the Clouds (disambiguation) already exists and could be used for that purpose.Rejectwater (talk) 21:40, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Looking more closely I noticed that the first few entries in the history of the current page Lake of the Clouds should actually be part of Lake of the Clouds (Michigan), so it wouldn't be just a move it would be some weird history merger.Rejectwater (talk) 21:57, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. This should go back to its original unique title, with a histmerge as of 24 June 2006. Station1 (talk) 02:10, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment you're forgetting Carlsbad Caverns, which has a section for "Lake of the Clouds". 65.94.47.63 (talk) 03:59, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment You are right, the room in the Caverns is a place called "Lake of the Clouds", so I edited my original statement. Thank you for pointing that out. But as far as having it's own section in the article, "Lake of the Clouds" is simply listed as the name of one room in the Carlsbad Caverns and given a short description. • Support, prima facie this seems to be the primary topic. Someone will need to sort out the page histories.--Kotniski (talk) 10:54, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

We would presumably move the DAB currently at Lake of the Clouds to Lake of the Clouds (disambiguation), currently a bot-generated redirect with no significant history. Andrewa (talk) 12:49, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
